This is a choreography where wild urban plant sensations become the motor for performance. The artist’s cyborg alter-ego performer Artemisia and the Weedy Islet travel around the stage in the purpose to create a new continent in the moment. She touches, smells, dances and talks and needs the audience in order to make sense to dance the thought of sensations with her inner monologues. The work explores themes of climate change refuges, immigration and cyborg feminism and plays with multiple entanglements that blur the lines between female performer, plants and audience.
